Saturday, July 4, 2009:
Tipton Adaptive Daycare
We
will have an entry in the Tipton 4th of July Parade. The 2009 parade
theme is "Movies on Parade", and our movie theme will be "Cinderella".
We have transformed a stroller into Cinderella's Carriage, complete
with a horse to pull it. Everyone is invited to dress as a prince,
princess, mouse, or any other character from Cinderella and join us.
Please wear sunscreen and dress cool. Don't forget a bottle of water. Our teen friends and helpers are also invited to wear their ball gowns
(from prom) and join us for a grand promenade to Cinderella's Ball. Extended
family and friends are also welcome to join us.
Please meet us in front of the daycare at 12:30 pm.We line up for the
parade on 4th Street at 1:00 pm. The parade starts at 2:00 pm. There is room for two infants or toddlers in the stroller, or you may bring your own stroller or wagon.
After the parade you may leave to enjoy the activities in the park.
At 6:00 pm, we will be having a cook-out in our back yard. We will be grilling hot dogs and hamburgers. Please bring a side dish or desert to share. Table service and Koolaid / Ice Tea will be provided. You are also welcome to bring lawn chairs or a blanket and stay to watch the fireworks from the north side of the park near our yard. The view of the fireworks is great, and you can avoid the crowds, smoke and traffic congestion after the show. Please RSVP for supper so that we have enough chairs and table service for everyone.
